Family homes are such special places to use as wedding venues — especially ones on the water! So when it came time to tie the knot, Kallie and Austin couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to get married than her grandparent’s home in the Northern Neck. We were able to pull off an unforgettable wedding featuring a light bohemian aesthetic, oyster theme, and a relaxed but fun vibe.

The pair said their “I dos” surrounded by all of their favorite people. Following the ceremony, this extra big group made their way to the tented reception where they were greeted at different points by both a band AND a DJ.

Bistro lights and greenery hung above tablescapes full of coastal themed decor and boho accents.

As a family in the oyster distribution business, it was important that this unique detail be included in their special day. We incorporated oysters throughout the design in a subtle and tasteful way, for a waterfront wedding that was reflective of the whole family!⁠ The event wrapped with an incredible firework show that this couple is sure to never forget!
