Celebrating Success

VCU Massey Cancer Center came to our Glint Events planning team wanting to celebrate hitting a major milestone: becoming designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). This highest level of recognition from the NCI resulted in a name change for the organization to: VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center.

This recognition also meant it was time for a celebration: one joyful night of “Thank you for being a part of the Circus” to all who had been integral in achieving this level of success. They wanted fun, they wanted to recognize all who had contributed to Massey achieving this recognition, and they wanted to create many memorable moments. Our team understood the mission and worked from planning to implementation, and everything in between, to execute our client’s vision.

The Theme

The evening unfolded with an atmosphere ripe for celebration, transforming Main Street Station into a vivid tapestry of festivity and joy. Every inch of the venue was meticulously adorned to craft a cohesive and immersive experience that left guests in awe.

The transformation began with a grand entrance. Illuminated rings flanked the red carpet entrance, casting a warm, inviting glow that beckoned guests into the heart of the celebration. Adding a whimsical touch, circus performers skillfully maneuvered through the crowd, delighting attendees with their playful antics.

As guests filtered in, they were ushered to their seats, ready to partake in a sumptuous dinner. The evening progressed with heartfelt speeches that celebrated the monumental achievements of the organization. Each speaker eloquently acknowledged the collective hard work and dedication that had brought them to this triumphant moment, filling the room with a palpable sense of pride and accomplishment.
