The ATDM Summit

Event Details…

Bringing Leaders Together

We consider it a sign of a truly great event when its goals and our expertise come together perfectly. The Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) Summit was a prime example of this alignment. This multi-day event featured an array of speakers, VIP guests, and multiple locations. Our team meticulously orchestrated the summit to offer an unforgettable experience to all 400 attendees.

The ATDM Summit served as a unique platform for leaders across the shipbuilding industry to connect with the US Navy and students from the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR). From intentional branding to exclusive tours of technical facilities, see how this event brought together the most influential figures in the shipbuilding industry.

From the outset, branding played a pivotal role in creating a cohesive and memorable event. The theme, “All hands on deck,” was artfully woven into all aspects of the summit by AccessU. This custom branding was first introduced to guests through their invitations, setting the stage for the summit. Throughout the IALR campus, strategically placed signage reinforced the theme, emphasizing the collective mission of uniting diverse stakeholders for a common cause.

Setting the Tone

Glint Events

The summit boasted an impressive lineup of speakers, each bringing their unique insights and perspectives. The keynote speaker, Navy Admiral James Kilby, underscored the summit’s ultimate goal: fostering collaboration among students, industry representatives, and naval officers to support the US Navy's shipbuilding endeavors. To ensure a memorable experience for these VIPs, our team collaborated with IALR to provide seamless logistics and hospitality, underscoring the significance of their contributions. As a token of appreciation for the speakers, IALR presented each with a specially curated gift featuring ATDM branding, serving as a lasting memento of their invaluable role in this significant and successful gathering.

An Attitude of Gratitude

Sponsors played an integral role in the success of the summit, and their contributions were acknowledged with gratitude. Alongside IALR, our team orchestrated numerous touchpoints for sponsors to engage with attendees, from welcome bags filled with branded items to dedicated booths in the main atrium, where attendees could engage with representatives from sponsors. This thoughtful integration ensured that sponsors were not only recognized, but also became an integral part of the event experience.

Show and Tell

A highlight of the summit was showcasing the cutting-edge facilities at IALR. Through guided tours, attendees witnessed firsthand the institution's capability and expertise in training students for ship and submarine construction for the Navy. Early bird tours provided exclusive access to high-security buildings, while coordinated transportation ensured all 400 attendees could explore the state-of-the-art National Training Center (NTC). The tours culminated in a reception at the NTC, offering guests a chance to network and reflect on the insights gained from the speakers and tours over a meal and a drink. This was a pivotal moment for leaders to forge and strengthen professional relationships.

The ATDM Summit was a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. By seamlessly integrating expertise, branding, and meaningful interactions, the summit achieved its mission of bringing together key figures for a shared vision in shipbuilding excellence.
