Caroline and Mike's Upper Shirley Wedding

The Farris's | October 10th, 2020

Our 3 most memorable moments from this wedding:

1. The flower wall was STUNNING. There was an original photo we found on Pinterest that was Caroline's "everything". After hours of trying to figure out what kind of structure it was on and how we were going to keep those riverfront breezes from toppling over our design, we figured it out with the engineering genius of Paisley & Jade along with the floral magic of Photosynthesis.

2. This event was supposed to be mostly indoors, but with COVID we had to adapt and came up with a dreamy plan that included the lawn for an open air, bistro lit, magical dinner. It ended up raining cats and dogs, but the vendor team was able to rally and reconfigure everything to work magically on the porches and under the tent. It truly was a beautiful evening full of fun, love and laughs.

3. The thing I loved most about this couple was the flexibility that they had through the 2020 planning process. Between stay-at-home orders, guest count reductions, and ever-changing rules and restrictions - they never wavered. They were going to get married on 10.10.20 if it meant just the two of them and 8 friends and family were there. Having such confident and eager clients made things so much easier amidst the pandemic craziness that was happening in our industry.

Caroline and Mike, thank you for having us be a part of your special day. Scroll through for all the details from their day, captured by the always talented Alex Tenser Photography.
