Jane Austen inspired at Tuckahoe Plantation

"To be fond of dancing was a certain step towards falling in love”- Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Tuckahoe Plantation was the ideal setting for Stephanie and Mitch's wedding, inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. A garden party with more pretty details than anyone could imagine - teacups, novels, top hats, petit fours...the list goes on and on.

The cocktail hour and reception both took place throughout the picturesque Tuckahoe Garden. Guests mingled among the peonies, drinks were served beneath the trees, children ran loops around the historic property, and a few of the lucky ones nestled themselves in spots of shade to escape from what felt like summer heat. Even with the unexpected 90-degree temperatures in April, the crowd danced the night away. Nothing could stop Stephanie and Mitch's friends and family from celebrating these two lovebirds.

Alex Tenser captured the garden, personalities, and wedding details beautifully.
