April Showers

We have seen an exceptional amount of rain throughout this spring wedding season. It often makes for a stressful week leading up to the wedding, but we are always blown away by the grace our couples and their families show when dealt with the last-minute changes. That is exactly what we experienced when working with Nicole and Camden for their April 7th wedding. Nicole's mom, Pauline, stopped by our office the Tuesday prior with her Captain America T-shirt on and a "can do" attitude in full-force. We were going to pull off an epic wedding...rain, snow (yes, snow), or shine! The inclement weather plan put into place included an increased tent size, added draping to separate the ceremony and reception spaces under the tent, additional lighting and power requirements, and modifications to the cocktail hour and reception floor plans. The last-minute changes came together beautifully. And as luck would have it, the rain held out for the majority of the day.
